The Nymph

A small-watt single-ended combo for the apartment, the bedroom, the studio at midnight — the kind of amp that gets played because it can be played any time.

From $1,650 Inquire Specs

The Nymph is the smaller sibling of the Honeymaker, voiced not as a miniaturization but as its own thing. Five watts gives you breakup at playable volume — the kind of sound that records well, sits well in a mix, and lets you actually hear what your hands are doing.

What it sounds like

Touch-sensitive at low volume. Wide open at three-quarters. A little hair on the upper-mids when you dig in. With single-coils it’s almost acoustic; with humbuckers it leans into the breakup quickly and gracefully.

What’s inside

  • Single-ended Class-A circuit, hand-wired
  • Custom-wound output transformer matched to the EL84
  • Solid pine cabinet with floated baffle
  • Internal 1×8 speaker; external 8Ω jack on the rear
